Help Taesoon keep her business in Japan
Hi, My name is Mayumi. I am Taesoon Maeda's daughter and we are seeking help.
My mom is living in Japan and she has her own alcohol/liquor business.
She owns a little pub in Shizuoka Japan.
I signed up for gofund me to help my mom's business.
She has been running her pub for almost 40 years and because of COVID-19, her business is facing serious finantial issues.
I got a phone call last night that now my mom, dad, and all the workers in the pub got the COVID-19 virus.
Japanese goernment only paid stimulus check once since Covid started and they are not paying any more money for closing the pub due to the Covid-19 virus.
My mom is a real hard worker who single handedly raised money for me to attend law school in Hawaii.
Being an international student in the US costs so much since the F-1 Visa won't allow me to work in the US and the fee for international student is around triple amount of the US citizens.
I am seeking finantial help to support my family to keep her business.
Keeping her business means so much to her since she opened her pub around 40 years ago and she loves her pub. The pub became a place for Japanese locals to gather and plan for Matsuri (Japanese festivals) and all the other major event in my hometown. Closing the pub will really break my mom's heart and other local people's heart.
My mom is in her 70s and my dad is in his 80s. I am praying to god that my parents will survive the virus and stay healthy.
Please help us keep her business. She needs to close down her pub for a month and right now, they do not have money to pay rent. All the donation goes to my parents for them to pay rent for the pub.
