Help Takiyah Overcome Her Financial Crisis

Hello friends and family. I would like to first start off by thanking everyone who donated to me and my daughter. With that money I was able to settle debts and catch up on bills. Y'all gave me a chance to breath and gain back control over my life. Today is May 20 and as you know school and this month is coming to an end. I was able to clear my debt but find myself in a predicament where when the first of the month comes I will find myself back in debt. I have reset my goal for $650 to be used for my storage room, my straight talk phone so I can receive calls from potential job offers, a laptop fee my baby has accumulated, and other things that might come up in the unforeseen future. If you have donated and cannot do it again I want you to know I am eternal grateful and thankful. And if possible then I want you to know we are so appreciative and I am working towards stability and hoping I will be back to work within the next 2 weeks. Hi my name is Takiyah and all I know how to do is work. I work in tobacco stores as a cashier here in Fayetteville NC. I love my job and my customers. But working for tobacco stores can be very strenuous because we work under the table and when the owners and their families sell the store or you don't do what they want you to do then they will fire you. I have been doing this for 9 years now and usually when I lose a store I'm able to get another job. I would love to go back to working on the table but I have extremely high student loans that when working after taxes and their fees I was unable to take care of my baby. I would need a job that would pay me at least $13 to $15 an hour to survive so that after taxes I could pay bills and survive. And my health does not allow me to work in the factories. But also because I love my job. I can't imagine not working in and eventually owning a tobacco or small corner store. But this last time I have gotten so behind on bills I am turning to family, friends, and Go fund me to help me out of this situation I am in.

Three weeks ago the store I was working in brought in a family member in that could barely speak English but was following me around and copying every word out my mouth. I have been here before and instantly knew that my manager was selling his store. I confronted him and he said that's not the case. I foolishly believed him and worked another week. But that wasn't true. I came in the next week and was told my manager no longer owns the store and just like that I was unemployed. It usually takes me about 2 weeks to a month to find another store. And I could usually make it but my car payment got so far behind this last month that the financing company repossessed my car. With my license and debit card because I had just came back to my hotel room and was headed back out. Without my car I can't get my daughter and I around. It's just me and my daughter and without my car I can't do anything. I have nobody but my sister's help for transportation and I can't put my burden on her because she's a mom that working. I can't afford to take an Uber or really the bus. I'm not one of those people that dodge my bills and responsibilities.And I did not see this repossession coming because I spoke to her and she said as long as my car insurance was up to date then I'd be ok. But as of the 1st she said that she can't wait on me any longer. And I understand it's a business but I kept in touch with her and told her my situation. I just spoke to her last week and had planned to send her money on Friday which I am still willing to do. But she refuses any partial payments any way. She wants the rest of the car note or nothing. All of me and my baby clothes is in that car minus what I was smart enough to bring into the hotel room.

When speaking to the finance company they said the only way I can get my car back is if I pay the whole car note off which is 2,300 out of the 8,500 I've paid off. I could work small jobs until I get it but she said I have 10 days or the car will be auctioned off. There is no way I could get that money on my own in a week. My daughter and I are living in a hotel and I am barely scraping by. I just need a helping hand. I'm working on my business plan and working with advisors to help me with my resume to open my own store but in the meantime I just humbly work and stay out the way.
