Help Talia get to Spain!
Donation protected
Talia was recently awarded an almost full scholarship to study abroad in Zaragoza, Spain for her junior year of high school with the School Year Abroad program. She did all of the research and application process herself and has been determined to make this happen since she found out about the program at the beginning of her freshman year. While the majority of her tuition is covered, we still have to find the money to pay for her books and materials, student visa, and her airfare.
I am typically reluctant to ask for this type of help, but because I've been single parenting Talia since she was one year old, I am reaching out to our community to ask for support. Anything you are willing to contribute will help.
A little bit about Talia: She's in her sophomore year at New Mexico School for the Arts, where she studies dance. She especially enjoys Contemporary dance and Flamenco--both of which she'll be able to keep doing in Spain. She has a 4.26 GPA, works on the weekend, and is active in clubs and activities at school. She is obsessed with animals, and cats in particular, and wants to go to med school to become a surgeon. She also enjoys babysitting, so if you are in New Mexico and need a date night or time alone while in Santa Fe, please reach out!
