Help Talia Study Abroad in Paris

Hi, my name is Talia Barraza and I am a First Generation student at Los Medanos College (LMC). Some of you guys might know who I am, but for the rest of you who don't, here is a short story of who I am.

I am a friendly person who likes to help others by putting a smile on their face, even though they are having a bad day. When I am not helping others, I spend my time making Ceramic Art. I first realized that I enjoyed doing Ceramics in my art class my Senior year. My Art teacher inspired me from the way she taught our class with a lot of fun and passion. I would love to teach the same way that she did one day in the future. Since I’m in college, I’m majoring in Fine Arts to be either a Ceramics teacher or a Sculptor.

For this semester being my second, it is stored with a lot of great news. First off, I will be turning 19 yrs. old this month! Secondly, this Summer LMC is offering a Humanities class to Study Abroad in PARIS for ALL of July!! This will be my FIRST time on a Study Abroad experience and officially travel outside the U.S.A.!

This Paris Program Class will be full of many activities and trips to visit and see the hotspots of:

I just need all the help that I can get to help me get there this Summer.

This class that I will enroll into, will be an important part of my General Education requirements for my college degree in Fine Arts. The donations will go to the cost of the Program and the activities, LMC tuition, textbooks/school supplies, and for transportation.

Hola, mi nombre es Talia Barraza y soy estudiante de Primera Generación en Los Medanos College (LMC). Algunos de ustedes pueden saber quién soy, pero para el resto de ustedes que no lo saben, aquí hay una breve historia de quién soy.

Soy una persona amable a la que le gusta ayudar a los demás poniéndoles una sonrisa en la cara, aunque estén teniendo un mal día. Cuando no estoy ayudando a los demás, paso mi tiempo haciendo arte en cerámica. Primero me di cuenta de que me gustaba hacer cerámica en mi clase de arte en mi último año. Mi maestra de arte me inspira por la forma en que enseñó nuestra clase con mucha diversión y pasión. Me encantaría enseñar de la misma manera que ella lo hizo algún día en el futuro. Como estoy en la universidad, me estoy especializando en Bellas Artes para ser Profesor de Cerámica o Escultor.

Para este semestre siendo mi segundo, se almacena con un montón de buenas noticias. En primer lugar, cumpliré 19 años este mes! En segundo lugar, este LMC de verano ofrece una clase de Humanidades para estudiar en el Extranjero en PARÍS durante TODO Julio. ¡Esta será mi PRIMERA vez en una experiencia de estudio en el extranjero y viajaré oficialmente fuera de los EE. UU.!

Solo necesito toda la ayuda que pueda obtener para ayudarme a llegar este Verano.

Esta clase en la que me inscribiré será una parte importante de mis requisitos de Educación General para mi título universitario en Bellas Artes. Las donaciones se destinarán al costo del Programa y las actividades, la matrícula de LMC, los libros de texto/útiles escolares y el transporte.
