Help Talia to escape death

Donation protected

At the moment of writing this story, I consider what I'm going through right now to be a heavy and black nightmare. All I see is blackness except for that candle named Talia, who lights the end of the place for me, but she is still swinging, support her to glow..

My name is Waroud al-Fatayerji, from al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza. I lived my life before the genocide, the life of a refugee in all its details, it wasn't a perfect life at all, but having my family around me made it perfect, my parents, my seven brothers and sisters, uncles, aunts and grandmother, almost 25 people.

Then the love of my life since childhood and my current husband Abdul Rahman, what more could I want, yes a baby girl and I got her two months before the genocide.

Then what, then a war of extermination, displacement, killing and loss of those who made life perfect. I lost 21 family members in one moment, did I really lose them, I didn't realise it and I won't realise it, my last consolation was that my father and two brothers survived. Of course, they didn't replace those who left, but something is better than nothing.

Then what? Then the Nuseirat massacre. He was going to get some food, he didn't come back, he didn't come back, he didn't bring food.

My father is gone, my father is gone. I lost the last of what was left.

Leaving my thirteen-year-old little brother as a trust in my neck.

For days after my father was killed, I saw nothing but darkness.

It was like I was blind.

But there was something that tugged at my heartstrings and disturbed my darkness. It was Talia. I don't know if I should care for her, if I should love her. What if she's gone too?

I can't protect her, so I'm here to ask you to help me protect her, to protect her, her candle that dodges the winds of annihilation, so that I may see the light in a safe place with her, my husband and my younger brother.

I am Waroud al-Fatayerji from al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.

I'm reaching out to you to humbly ask for your support in this critical time. Your contribution, whether financial or through spreading the word, could make a life-changing difference for my family.

I cannot express my gratitude enough to everyone who is joining me in making this dream a reality

Thank you for your kindness and support during this critical time.
