Help Tamatam Island, Micronesia

Donation protected
Located in the Northwest region of Federated States of Micronesia, the Island of Tamatam is home to a small community of 300 plus who rely on their traditional farms of taro and bananas and fishing for their livelihoods. It's a small atoll in the Pacific that has supported this community for generations, but it's size makes it extremely vulnerable to climate change impacts.
The historic King Tides that happened in December 2021 has devestated their food storage supply and their daily fishing grounds. The island compromise of 20 plus household, with vulnerable women, elders with disability, and children who will face a major food security issue over the next coming months.
As a former Mayor and a native of Tamatam I am reaching out and seeking ways to help with some needed resources to help at this critical time. With the support of our our Traditional Chief, Mr. Kasmiro Micheal and all the people of Tamatam, we kindly ask for you donation for some food and water supply to be delivered on the next boat.
Thank you very much every little donation will help.
