HELP TAMI FISHER FIGHT BREAST CANCER
Donation protected
On March 1, 2021, Tamara Fisher was diagnosed with triple-negative inflammatory breast cancer. This subtype of breast cancer has a dismal prognosis. It is one of the most aggressive and lethal types of breast cancer. It is incurable.
On March 17th she learned that the cancer had spread to her lungs, liver, bones and bloodstream.
Next week, Tami will have an MRI of the brain, a liver biopsy, and a port surgically placed under her skin for injecting chemo. On Monday, March 29th, Tami will begin an aggressive treatment of chemotherapy and then radiation. This will continue for six months.
Unfortunately, Tami cannot work. She has no income at this time. In January, Tami moved from Dunedin, Florida to Palm Coast, Florida with a plan to find a new job, settle down on the east coast and ride life into retirement. She was only in Palm Coast a little over a month when she was hit with this horrible diagnosis.
The goal now is to prolong her life as long as possible. With all the latest medical breakthroughs and with breast cancer research advancing, we are optimistic that Tami will beat this.
Sadly, Tami’s husband, George passed away three years ago. Their only child, Lake is away at college. The Fisher family has been through so much already.
This fundraiser is set up to help offset the cost of medical expenses not covered by insurance. It will help with Tami's rent and utilities. Other expenses include possible alternative and integrative therapies, experimental trials, transportation expenses, wigs, food and whatever else may arise.
Your generosity will ease some of the financial burden that rests ahead. No contribution is too small and the Fisher family extends sincere thanks and appreciation for all who wish to contribute to Tami's journey.
If you cannot donate, please share Tami’s story.
