Help Tammi's Family Through This Difficult Time

I am Tammi's identical twin sister, Pammi. Tam was diagnosed in the last week of May with Stage 4 Metastatic Cancer in her brain, lungs, and spine. Recently, we found 2 more masses on her main vein in her heart, and another mass in her brain. Her results revealed she has 11 masses in her brain, and she decided on radiation on her brain, in which she received 8 out of 9 treatments.

She started feeling unwell around the middle of June, was hospitalized for two weeks due to her vision being impaired, and her legs feeling like cement. She was sent home with meds, but went back to the hospital a week and a half later with breathing issues. Test results showed fluid on her heart, along with low blood pressure. The test results then showed fluid around her heart, which they drained immediately. They also administered blood pressure meds, which unfortunately attacked her smaller capillaries in both feet and her left hand, turning them black. After 2-3 weeks, she was stable enough, although on oxygen, to go to rehab at Van Dyne, where she received physical therapy, but was resistant. She was sent to St. Joes due to breathing issues, where results showed she had pneumonia in both lungs and yet another mass on her brain (12 masses total). They gave her antibiotics and also blood pressure meds to keep her stable. Her body is very weak, and her mental state is unstable. We will have a meeting with Tam's care team on Friday. Her oldest, Cody, is unable to get time from work until Friday. I have been posting updates on Facebook for friends and family, and will continue to do so.

Her partner Ed, myself, her family, and her children, Cody, Brandon, Zack, Tyler, and Ayden, are asking for help to pay for her end of life celebration/funeral, and future expenses for Ayden, 12, as he will be starting school in September. All donations after Tam's expenses will go directly to care for Ayden. This has been very difficult for us, her friends, and we want to thank everyone for calling, texting, visiting, and the comforting messages on Facebook. Words cannot express what that means to us.
