Help Tammy and Jim Move to Pittsburgh

Hi, this is Tammy and Jim. We're fundraising for a sudden move to Pittsburgh. He was out of work for several months before he got a new job Monday, and my job is ending December 31. I am in the final round of interviews for a job in Pittsburgh at a Carnegie Library, but nothing is definite. Either way, I have to move to Pittsburgh because if I don't have a job, we can't afford to stay in our current apartment/town. It's been a rough couple of years for us financially, if you know the epic story of the $7,000 car repair, and Jim being out of work twice, and now with my job ending, things are looking particularly bleak.

We're going to need the money for moving expenses, first month's rent and deposit, and a little extra money to pay bills like our car payments and car insurance until we both find something. If I don't get a librarian job, I'm going to try to write grants on a freelance basis, and I have a contact who can help me do that. There are no opportunities in the rural area in which we live now, not even a Target, so we really do have to move.

You folks have been so wonderful when we've run into problems in the past, and I want you to know I appreciate every one of you. Please only give if you can comfortably do so. Every little bit helps, and we will do our best to pay it forward to the next person who needs help, as always.
