Help Tampa Family Rebuild After Hurricane Helene

Hi everyone, on Thursday, September 26th, 2024, Hurricane Helene made landfall in the Florida Panhandle. She left a wake of devastation in her path. My house, located in Tampa, FL, was only one of her victims.

I’m thankful that my family and pets are safe, but most of what I own, including my house and car, have been destroyed.

I do not have home insurance; they dropped me a few months ago. I will be applying for FEMA relief and anything else I can find, but I will need to relocate with my 7 animals. I don’t want to, but I’m asking for help. I need to cover moving costs, temporary rent, possibly boarding, a down payment on a new car or a rental, food, pet care, some new furniture, and to pay for assistance with cleanup.
