Help Tanisha Recover & Heal

Hey guys. My name is Tanisha, im a local queer Black organizer in the Triad NC. Just recently I’ve lost my mother (who was also my payee for disability). Since her passing, I’ve been cut off from disability, which has also caused me to lose my medicaid. With being disabled its hard to find a job, heal, and grieve all at once. My mothers passing was so sudden and unexpected. We were not prepared for this at all. Im her youngest, 22. She was still in the process of teaching me SO much about life and how to go about it. She was my support system, and i was hers. These funds would include rent, transportation, medical costs, electricity and water for the rest of the year.
