Help Tanmay go to Grad School
Hello!
Many of you have heard me give immense praise to Bhurabhai, this guy that makes amazing vadapav from a roadside stall across from Sahajanand College in Ahmedabad. I’ve been enjoying his vadapav for almost 20 years and have gotten a chance to learn more about him and his family.
I met his son Tanmay, who is looking to pursue his post graduate studies in Canada. I am presenting an opportunity for us all to help not only Tanmay achieve his dream but also give him an opportunity which will help his entire family live a better life. A life that they can live beyond their present one of a small room of 8x14 ft shared by Tanmay, his parents and his siblings.
I urge you to help Tanmay and his family. If you have any questions, please let me know.
Tanmay’s personal request is attached below.
Thank you!
Sanjeev

Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Tanmay Unagar. My father, Pravinbhai Unagar runs a food cart near Kamdhenu Complex in Ahmedabad. I have completed Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from L. J. Institute of Engineering and Technology (accredited by Gujarat Technology University) in August 2020.
I would like to pursue my post-graduate studies in Carbon Engineering, which is an emerging field in chemical engineering. I have already secured admission to this program at The University of Calgary for September 2021 intake.
The total cost of this two-year program is CAN$26,600 (approximately INR 16 lakh). I had applied to many nationalized and private banks for an education loan. However, these applications were not approved due to insufficient assets for collateral.
I humbly request your financial support.
The amount mentioned above is for the entire program (2 years). However, I am seeking only INR 12 lakh, which is required for the first year’s tuition and GIC (mandatory for Canadian student visa). The Canadian government allows part time employment to international students so, I intend to cover the rest of my expenses by working part-time.
I aspire to work hard to build my career in Carbon Engineering. My dream is to be able to support my parents and my siblings financially and improve their quality of life. I would greatly appreciate your support in achieving this dream.
Please let me know if you need any information regarding my admissions or transcripts.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Tanmay Unagar
