Help Tanner Win Gold!

Hi there, my name is Tanner and I'm fundraising for travel expenses so that I can compete at the paraclimbing world cups and world championships this summer in Europe. Since suffering my spinal cord injury in March of 2018, I've dedicated my life to climbing and have been pushing myself to win gold in the "seated" category on the world stage. After receiving a silver medal in Moscow 2 years ago, my motivation and ambition to prevail are at an all-time high.

For the past year, I've been dealing with a recurring wrist injury, as well as other minor shoulder tweaks and strains. Now that I'm fit and my body and mind are ready to succeed, I need some help getting to Europe and attending all three competitions on the circuit this summer.

The full paraclimbing circuit is as follows: May - Salt Lake City, Utah; June - Innsbruck, Austria; July - Villars, Switzerland; August - Bern, Switzerland. The first three competitions are considered to be World Cups and the final competition is the World Championships, which only happen every two years.

Having recently finished my degree, I'm looking to start my career soon and won't be afforded such an immense opportunity as what currently lies in front of me. I feel as though this may be my last chance to make the most of a 2-month trip to Europe and focus on training and competition climbing in such a concentrated way. I'll continue to compete for as long as my body will let me, but this is an opportunity that I cannot pass up.

My goal of $10,000 will be used for my flight, food, lodging, medical supplies, travel expenses, travel insurance, etc.
