Help Tanya Greene & Fam Due To Medical Emergency
Donation protected
Tanya Greene went into the ER on October 18th with what turned out to be liver failure. She has been in the ICU since then on a ventilator. She has sustained an undeterminable amount of brain damage that we will not be able to gauge until she can communicate. While Tanya has made a lot of progress in the past few weeks, the doctors say she has a long recovery ahead. In the past few days, she has been able to open her eyes and move her feet, but Tanya is not yet able to move her arms or speak.
As the family has gone from two incomes to one, we are looking for some short-term assistance to keep everything running while we figure everything out.
An avid Rolling Stones fan, she passed her love of music to her son, Noel. Tanya is the ultimate punk rock mom. When we moved into our house, her favorite feature was the sunroom. She sacrificed her favorite room and allowed us to soundproof (kinda) the sunroom so that Noel would have practice space. This space has been home to Noel's band, Orphan Riot, for the past five years. In addition to putting up with a noisy house, she always ensures the band members have a hot meal and a place to crash if needed.
While unsure what is next, we appreciate anything you can do to help us figure this out.
