Help Tanya Through This Crisis

Asking for money or help is the most difficult thing for me to do. But yet I will do it because it is for my Daughter Tanya. And of course I do it out of my love for her because she needs that help. Tanya has been off of work since November 2nd on FMLA without pay. Tanya was informed that the long term benefits would begin in February. Thanks to some of you who have already contributed, Tanya has been able to pay her mortgage, utility bills, and handle groceries in November and now in December. But we still have January to go through.

Tanya has worked hard all her life. She worked three part-time jobs while attending the U of M full time. After graduating from college she went on to applying herself every day and held respectable jobs that required a LOT of concentration and no room for mistakes. She was and still is respected by past and current co-workers and bosses for the excellence she brought with her to her work. Tanya does not give up easily at anything she does, so letting go to the reality that it was time that she no longer was able to do what she used to do was in itself a very tough and emotional decision. MS is a very mysterious and sneaky and deceiving illness. You cannot see the long-lasting, over-the-top fatigue causing brain fog that impairs Tanya’s ability to concentrate at work. This then causes stress and anxiety because she is not able to do her job like she used to. In addition, there’s the tingling in the arms and legs and feet and hands and tongue. As I said in a prior post, Tanya’s MS is now at a new level and it has become a new reality for her. She is under Doctor’s care and he has ordered her to not work at this time.

MS strikes wherever and whenever it wants to in the brain. The more lesions that form in the brain, the more it impacts a person’s functions. And then working at a job full time becomes impossible.

Family and Friends, thank you for what you have already done. For those of you who are still thinking of contributing, there is still time. Tanya has been off of work since November 2nd on FMLA without pay. Tanya’s savings were depleted when her PTO was used up and she had to take days off due to illness from MS and had to meet the usual bills monthly bills. Tanya was informed that the long term benefits would begin in February. We still have January to get through. The funds she receives from you will go to mortgage, utilities and groceries.

Thank you, Everyone once again, and Help Tanya Through This Crisis. Any amount is appreciated! We send our love and thanks to you and wish you much joy in the New Year!

Love,
Faye
