Help Tara Adair recover from a health crisis

Last Tuesday (1/17/23), Tara was at work but had to be taken to the Emergency Room because of severe abdominal pain. She was admitted and the doctors have been working hard to stabilize her uncontrollable pain and high blood pressure. As a result, Tara has been unable to see her 3 children. Not being able to see her children has been agonizing for her. Beyond the inability to be with her children, being unable to work due to her hospitalization in conjunction with the mounting medical costs are making a difficult situation worse - more stress when she needs to focus on getting well to be present for her children in all aspects.

Many may not realize that Tara created the organization Caring Hearts of Somerville, a network for those in Somerville to give back to those in the local community. As an 11th generation Somerville resident, she works tirelessly to help the homeless, the hungry, and veterans. After our community was rocked with Hurricane Ida, she helped other organizations network to help those most impacted while keeping coolers and tables outside of her home for anyone who needed something to have instant access to it. As is often true for those with the propensity to give selflessly, they can find it a challenge to openly ask for the assistance for themselves that they give so selflessly to others.

Tara is the first to rally behind supporting those in her community who need help when times are tough. We are now called to serve her and her family. Whatever you can give will, in the community with others, have a tremendous impact on Tara and her family.
