Help Tara on her Cancer Journey

Hi, my name is Amanda and I am the cousin of Tara and I am wanting to fundraise for the ongoing medical and living expenses for Tara and her Mum ( My Aunty Lu )

This is Tara's Story :

Hi!

My name is Tara, I am 32 years old.

Earlier this year I was disgnosed with cancer.

Not the news myself or my family were ever expecting, it was a massive shock and suddenly everything was focused primarily on appointments.

I have high grade B cell (aggressive) Non Hodgkins Lymphoma stage 4.

I have been through 6 rounds of Rchop chemotherapy and am preparing to start another more intensive chemo in mid November, due to some stubborn cancer cells near my spine/stomach that the Rchop couldn't remove. Throughout this ordeal I've been unable to work. My mum, a recent heart attack survivor, is caring for me and has been unable to work as well, so funds have been extremly limited. Overwhelming is.. an understatement.

So any help would be much appreciated and we will be eternally grateful.

Tara will have a port Catheter surgically placed under her skin and begin instense chemotherapy and stem cell treatment soon after.

Tara's treatment will be on the Sunshine Coast and in Brisbane, which they will need ongoing medical, accomodation, fuel and expenses every week for treatment.

Any donation no matter how big or small is greatly appreciated.

We’re not normally the ones to ask for help, but at the moment it’s extremely over whelming and the financial impact already is stressful.

It is my hope we can come together and eliminate some of the ongoing financial stress and focus on beating this awful disease.
