Help Tara play for the Australian Volleyball Team

As you may already know I am living my dream of playing volleyball in Europe and more importantly, coming home in May to play the international season with the Australian Women’s Volleyball Team (Volleyroos). Those that know me well, know that wearing the green and gold is the most important thing to me.

Since playing with the Australian Junior Team in 2015 to being selected for the Australian Senior team in 2019, my extremely supportive parents and I have forked out 10's of 1,000's of dollars - to train, to travel, to compete, to live.

Recently, my team and I were informed that we need to pay $8,000 to cover the cost of 2 camps and 1 international competition during the first half of this season.

I am heartbroken, as this may well mean I can’t participate this year.

The schedule includes 2 training camps in Canberra in May followed by a tournament in Indonesia for the Asia Challenge Cup in June. These two months add up to the $8,000 that I need to find and pay. In July we then aim to attend more camps at the AIS. And again in August, we hope to come together at the AIS for a final time, before attending the VTV Cup in Vietnam and Asian Championships in Thailand. But we are yet to discover how much these later camps and tournaments could cost us.
