Help Tara with legal fees

After her husband filed for divorce while on summer vacation, Tara and the kids decided to stay in the states rather than return overseas to an abusive home in a foreign country. She was told by her husband that she would have to move out of the family home when returning from vacation. Which is impossible when you are a military spouse living overseas and are 100% dependent on the service member. After being a stay at home mom for 10 years she is now working full time while on government assistance to provide for her children. Her husband offers little to no financial support.

 

She needs help fighting for her children.

 

Her husband has filed international child abduction charges against her. He is determined to get the kids back despite the fact that they are scared of him and scared to be forced to leave their mother.

 

She has no money and the average retainer for a lawyer in these cases is 15-25k. That is JUST the retainer, the actual cost can easily get up to 100k.

 

She will have to go to Federal court the first week of January to defend HERSELF against her emotionally and verbally abusive husband and his federal attorneys. Despite spending weeks looking for help, she hasn’t been able to find any.
