Support Taylor in her Fight Against Cancer
July 26th 2021 was an ordinary day for Taylor Mazzullo. A hard working, full-time college student majoring in International Business and Economics at Bloomsburg University and a part-time waitress at a restaurant where she lives. She woke up early and was headed to work on her new apartment. She was planning to start moving in that next week. As the day went by, her shoulder began to hurt. As she examined the area where the pain was coming from, she felt a lump. By the evening, the lump had grown so significantly, you could see it just by looking at her. She went to the emergency room and from there, received the staggering news that they believed it was Lymphoma.
She was officially diagnosed on August 19th, 2021. For Taylor, a young woman who has big plans for her life, traveling and eventually starting a family, this news is completely overwhelming and incredibly scary. She will begin chemotherapy on September 13th. The chemotherapy can cause infertility so Taylor has decided to begin the process of fertility preservation (freezing her eggs) to provide options when that time comes. These treatments inevitably put a huge burden on any family and no family should have to worry about the financial burden while they stay strong by their loved one's side.
We ask that you give what you can to show Taylor and her family that they are not alone through this fight.
