Help Taylor Florey Fight Bone Cancer

Hello,

My name is Rob Kennard. I am here to ask for a ton of help for a dear friend. Some of you may know Jessica Angeleri and/or Zach Florey. Jess was my roommate for 3 years and I have known both for 20+ years. Many of you would know Jess from her days working at the Neutral Zone in Westmont and Another Round in Downers Grove, and Zach through the many bands he has headed as the lead singer.

Last week, their daughter Taylor Florey was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in her leg, which is a type of bone cancer. Yesterday, Taylor underwent a few scans, including a PET scan, to determine if the cancer has spread to other parts of the body. Currently, they have only found one additional trace of the cancer in a lymph node behind the knee.

She will have a port put in her chest on Friday and start chemotherapy on Saturday at Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago. The current plan is for chemo to continue for three months. At that time, Taylor will undergo surgery to remove the tumor and cancerous lymph node, followed by three more months of chemo.

During this time, Jessica will be spending much of her time at the hospital, and bills will mount up quickly. I am starting this GoFundMe page to help with all the various expenses that will add up for their family. I am counting on everyone to please help Taylor and her family in any way that you can. No amount is too big or too small.

Taylor is a senior at Downers Grove North High School and has been a cheerleader for many years. She is a strong young woman and will fight through this. Please keep Taylor and her family in your prayers.
