Hi my name is Donita and I am Taylor and Noble’s aunt.
My niece Taylor awoke early Saturday morning with what she thought was appendicitis. As the worsening pain became unbearable, I suggested she go the emergency room where we learned she was 38 weeks and 5 days pregnant; and ready to deliver.
Roughly five hours later we welcomed Noble Alexander Davon Dobbins, at a whopping 8lbs 15ounces. Leave it to my overachieving niece to accidentally give birth to completely healthy toddler!
Surprise would be the understatement of the century. While “cryptic pregnancies” are all over social media, we just never thought it would hit home.
I see Taylor everyday! She experienced NO signs of pregnancy not to mention she is one of the hardest working young people I know! Her regular work week was never less than 65/70 hrs and involved lifting 50/60lbs on a regular basis throughout her pregnancy. She has worked really hard to create a life for herself. And now she has a beautiful little blessing to add to the mix.
She is so very grateful for her miracle; and loves him more than she can ever express. Caring for him has become her prime directive. She won’t be able to work like she used to make ends meet. Facing countless expenses from medical bills from the surprise delivery; doctors visits for Noble; childcare, and housing. Her one bedroom is barely big enough for her; hardly enough space for a growing baby boy. The money will help Taylor with all of the above as well as allow Taylor to complete her education.
