Help T.C. Walk Again
Donation protected
I'm a friend of Louise Leifer who's five year old dog, T.C is in urgent need of our help.
T.C.'s vet, Dr. Mark Dilworth, confirmed that T.C. has cruciate disease and needs surgery on both his hind legs if he is to ever walk again. This is a very painful condition that affects the joints and the prognosis is not good without intervention. For more detailed information about this condition go to:
http://dogcatsurgery.com/knee-surgery-cranial-cruciate-disease-in-dogs.html
Surgery will cost $3,000 per leg. As soon as this campaign reaches the halfway point the first surgery will be booked.
100% of all proceeds collected, will go directly to Dr Mark's clinic at Beaches Animal Hospital, in Toronto.
Prior to Louise's 2011 car accident (which left her with PTSD and grieving the loss of two dogs that perished that day) Louise had devoted 30 years of her life to grooming and caring for her clients, friends and familys' dogs. Now she needs our help to cover the cost of T.C.'s medical care and I do not know of a more deserving and selfless person.
Louise is an extraordinary person who would compulsively dispense good cheer, an astounding amount of information on your pets needs, skin allergies, dietary needs and behavioural quirks....all while grooming with loving and experienced hands. Some of us call her, "The Dog Whisperer".
Prior to Louise's car accident, she had also tirelessly devoted hundreds of hours volunteering and campaigning for various animal causes.
Louise quite literally found T.C. on her doorstep. He was in need of a home and soon wagged his way into Louise's heart and the hearts of her other four adopted dogs.
For those of you that don't know T.C. let me share with you; he is a gentle giant who's specialty is melting hearts. His calm demeanour and soulful eyes bring calm and peace to Louise and everyone in his presence.
Louise has been our Yoda and T.C. her faithful companion. Together, they have made this world a happier, safer and healthier place for so many of our fury friends.
Please know that your donations will provide much needed medical care for an extraordinary dog and a very kind and deserving local dog hero,
You will be provided with regular updates during this campaign and I'm sure, with a little encouragement, once he is feeling better, T.C. will have his own digital media presence so that we can all be a part of his light and Louise's warmth and wisdom.
Every contribution - no matter the amount - is greatly needed and appreciated.
With all my heart, I thank you.
