Help Teall Recover From Brain Surgery
This past Sunday, August 22nd, Teall Harkey was filming at the Farmer's Market in San Rafael when he unexpectedly had a seizure that caused him to fall and suffer a significant head injury. His quick-thinking co-workers called 911, and Teall was rushed to Marin Health, where he suffered a second seizure.
He had an MRI, and a CT Scan that revealed the bleeding around his brain was worsening, so on Wednesday, August 23rd, Teall went in for emergency brain surgery, where they removed a portion of his skull and drained the blood. He remains sedated and on a ventilator to allow the swelling to go down (this could take several days). After the surgery, the Neurologist informed us that Teall would have a long road to recovery. He is only 48 years old.
To know him is to love him. Teall has always been there for all of us, and now is the time to be there for him. As an independent contractor and supporter for the family, not being able to work means not providing for his sweet family, Angelina, and Roo. Raising funds to take away some of the financial burdens while he recovers will be an enormous relief to Angelina. It will allow her to be by Teall's side and focus on aiding in his recovery.

Teall Harkey is one-of-a-kind and an instant friend to everyone he meets. He was born and raised in Alameda, CA, where he graduated from Alameda High School and played The Music Man! Teall was also a fabulous and well-loved camp counselor at Skylake Yosemite Summer Camp. He is known to gladly help and support anyone in need! His Mother Sue and Brother Robert now reside in New York.
Teall currently lives in San Rafael, CA, with his wife Angelina, 14-year-old daughter Roo, and adorable dog Halo.Some of you know Teall as the fun-loving Dad of Roo (AKA Riley or Lovina). She attended Redeemer Preschool, Coleman Elementary School, Davidson Middle School, and now San Rafael High School.
