Support the Brazilian Roller Derby Team to Reach the World Cup in Austria in July 2025!

Roller Derby is a vibrant, inclusive, and challenging sport, predominantly played by women and transgender individuals of all ages and abilities who come together on an oval track to compete with strength, strategy, and teamwork. Unfortunately, Roller Derby is still relatively unknown in South America, making it difficult for athletes to access sponsorships and infrastructure needed to compete internationally.

Our Brazilian Roller Derby team has been invited to represent the country at the 2025 Roller Derby World Cup, which will be held in July in Austria. However, for our athletes to realize this dream and bring the name of Brazil to the championship, we need your help to cover the associated costs.

Challenges and Costs:

Equipment: High-quality skates, helmets, knee pads, elbow pads, and uniforms are essential for the athletes' safety and performance.

Training: Renting practice facilities and covering travel expenses for athletes from different parts of Brazil to train together.

International Travel: Airfare and ground transportation: Average cost of a roundtrip flight from São Paulo to Austria in July 2025: $1,000 dollars.

Accommodation: 4 days in Austria: $350 dollars.

Total Cost per Person (Accommodation and airfare): $ 1,350 dollars.

With a team of 25 people, including athletes and coaching staff, the total amount needed to cover all expenses is nearly $ 35,000 dollars
