Help Team Canada Jr Roller Derby get to FRANCE!

Hello and Bonjour, Canada!

My name is Caroline Reimer (Coach Meow), the head coach for Team Canada Junior Roller Derby 2023. We are fortunate to have found 35 outstanding athletes who qualified to represent Canada on the World Cup Stage in Valance, France, in July 2023.

As we all know, travel costs are high and getting our athletes from BC, AB, SK, ON, and NB to Europe is not easy. We are looking to our nation, to Canadians, from coast to coast to coast, to help us reduce the cost of travel for our skaters.

All funds raised will be split equally between the athletes (35) and the support staff/coaches (7) for their flight/travel costs to France. Reducing the costs for families to get to France will help make the travel for our families within Canada much more manageable. Our athletes will be travelling to Toronto in April and Calgary in May for our two team practices; as we all know, travel within Canada is expensive and your help is appreciated.

Roller derby is a full-contact sport played on a flat, oval track, where teams earn and protect points by blocking opposing skaters with their bodies.
