Help Telisha and Her Son Build a New Future

“My Mom is a super hero. She has laser fingers and power hair. She shoots muffins out of her hands. She fights Mr. Chicken and makes friends to help her.”
- Telisha’s Son (4 years old at the time)
My Sister, Telisha Arguelles, has been a long time trailblazer and mover & shaker for Women, Children and Young People.
She has devoted her entire life to caring for her family and her communities in unique and innovative ways. Often putting her own best interests and safety aside for the highest good of all.
As a Mother she has raised her 16 yo son to be a good human, dedicated honors student, devoted hockey player and visionary for a better world.
As a creative entrepreneur she has founded several community-serving businesses and ensured opportunities for those who may not have received them otherwise.
As a highly-called and highly-trained spiritual devotee she is blazing a trail to bring more people back to a centered place of empowerment and devotion.
She has most always been the helper. Even and especially after experiencing the loss of her 9 month old daughter who she spent 9 months in the NICU with fighting alongside her for her survival. And sharing the everyday miracles that occurred with communities near and far. And parenting her son.
And now she needs our help as she continues to serve her communities, be a present & consistent Mother to her son and leave a 14 year marital situation that most often worked against her highest callings.
Make no mistake she is also utilizing her lived experience navigating the current systems to make a better way forward for survivors and their children.
And is working to go to an HBCU in Nashville, TN to acquire more resources to continue to be forward-thinking and effective in all she pursues.
This money would provide her with the resources she needs to navigate the current legal system in the Deep South, rent & furnish a nurturing, inspiring and stable home for her and her son, continue to do her much needed change-focused work in her communities, allow her the resources to be joyfully self-sufficient, pay off the crippling debt she has acquired while trying to leave the marriage and rebuild a life that she didn’t destroy. It would serve as a much needed financial bridge to be securely on her feet and moving forward.
We are not going back.
Thank you for your loving contribution!
