Help Tena Doss during her fight to beat MELANOMA

Tena Doss is 51 years old, a mother of four, a grandmother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt and friend. I have known her since 1982 and consider her family to be part of my family. Tena was recently diagnosed with Stage IV Melanoma. The first thought anyone that knows her had was, "Tena? How could this possibly be happening to Tena, a person that is diligent about her diet and dedicated to exercising, working out and hiking". It doesn't make sense right? So, instead of going on a trip to Uganda that day in February she is now fighting for her life.
Tena immediately underwent surgery to remove the largest mass in her brain, she had five. She also had three tumors in her lungs and cancer in her spleen. The first week after surgery she received radiation treatments. A full body scan at the end of that week showed only a very small spot on her spleen and only one spot on her lungs. She’s currently receiving Yervoy and Opdivo in an IV drip every three weeks for 13 weeks. She loves her oncologist because he’s caring, direct, honest and he cusses :D
My goal is to raise as much money as possible to assist with providing several meals a week to the Doss family as they go through this difficult time. So far it’s been Chipotle and Pita Jungle, two of their favs. Any remaining funds that are donated will be used towards mounting medical expenses. Any monetary offering you can give to help with this endeavor would be greatly appreciated. No amount is too small.

UPDATE: In less than a week almost $4,000 has been donated to assist Tena Doss in her struggle to beat Stage IV Melanoma, proving once again that the hearts of people are loving and strong. Unprecedented advances in drug development have led to effective new drugs to treat advanced Melanoma. This is another win for Tena, however these effective drugs come with a hefty price tag.
