Help Terah Survive After Multiple Gun Shot Wounds
We of The Community Engagement Response Team of Rochester, MN are requesting your support to help this GoFundMe reach and surpass its goal.
Terah Washington is a 29 year old father and is facing the challenge of his life - recovering from 7 bullet wounds following a senseless act of gun violence. Early in the morning on June 6th, 2021 Terah and his best friend Todd Banks Jr., 28, were both shot in downtown Rochester, MN after an altercation they had assumed resolved. JR Banks did not survive.
Terah has a long road ahead of him healing from multiple levels of trauma in regards to this act of gun violence. Not only did someone attempt to murder him leaving bullet wounds through out his body, he also witnessed the murder of his best friend JR Banks. He is home and recovering from his wounds but unable to work for ATLEAST 90-120 days which leaves a huge unmet financial need for him and his children!
The mother of his two children Endia Clark is a paramedic for Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service and was on duty when the shooting occurred. "It's been tough for the children but they're helping their dad stay strong. "His son said 'I love you dad. I hope you get better soon.' Then his daughter said, 'I love you dad. You don't let nobody get to you,'" Endia said. "He laughed and he smiled about that, and he told us that he loved us. And It was real nice to hear that and know that the breathing tube had came out after two days."
