Help Teresa & Family with Stage 4 Cancer Expenses

My mom, Teresa Ruvalcaba, was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer this January 2021. By the time she was able to get care, the cancer had partially collapsed her lung and metastasized to several parts of her body. The COVID-19 pandemic and job as an essential worker delayed her ability to get care. Although the tumor has considerably shrunk with chemotherapy, she will need treatment for an indefinite time.

Since her diagnosis, I have been assuming many of the financial responsibilities of our family of 4 (pictured above). My mom has been receiving disability checks since the start of her chemotherapy, but the amount has been decreasing since. We have been prioritizing our monthly mortgage, utilities, and groceries. As a result, we have been neglecting her accumulating medical bills. We currently owe $43,046.94 in medical-care-related costs. 

We've been informed that there was expressed interest from the public to donate. It has genuinely warmed our hearts to hear this. This is in no way necessary, but we really do appreciate the sentiments. All money donated to this page will go towards partially paying off medical bills, and easing the financial strain caused from our standard, monthly payments.
