Help Teresa Nelson Fight Cancer and Fix Her Vehicle

A fundraiser for my sister who is battling metastatic breast cancer and needs a new transmission for her vehicle that allows her to travel comfortably to her chemotherapy sessions.

Who is Teresa Nelson?

• Teresa Nelson is my sister and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

• She was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in 2023 and has been undergoing chemotherapy treatment once a week traveling from Salina to Kansas City.

• She has lost her eyesight due to the cancer and is no longer able to work.

• She is a fighter and a survivor, but she needs our help.

What is the problem?

• The vehicle that Teresa and her husband John bought less than four months ago, which allows her to lay down on a mattress in the back due to the pain and discomfort of bone cancer, had the transmission go out.

• Unfortunately, the did not get an extended warranty and the dealer warranty just expired on the vehicle.

• The cost for the transmission is in the thousands, and they don't have the money to pay for it.

• They are trying to satisfy all their financial obligations but with only one income now instead of two, their budget is very tight.

• The vehicle is critical for Teresa to get to and from her chemotherapy treatments, which are vital for her health and survival.
