Help Teri Clarke Overcome Financial Hardship

Hello!

My name is Teri Clarke and I am the award-winning author Zin E. Rocklyn. I am coming to you in supplication as I am in desperate need of assistance.

I moved to Florida in December of 2021 to help my father take care of my mother who has dementia. This arrangement did not work out for a myriad of reasons and I did my best to leave Florida, but that also did not work out. I am still determined to leave this state, but setback after setback has thwarted my plans, poverty being one of them.

At this stage, I live with my wonderful partner and his children, but we are struggling profoundly to survive. Milton set us back tremendously and freelance work (which is the only work available to me for the time being as Florida has strict and discriminatory policies for gainful employment) has been dry. I have a disability case going (two years now), but that can take years. The case has advanced, but I'm still in wait.

There's no other way to put it: we are poor and we need the help.

The goal will cover my sliding scale past-due bills and allow us to catch up on multiple outstanding issues. At this rate, it will be just enough to keep our noses above water.
