Help terminally ill Lou make memories with her family x

I have known Lou for a long time, we went to school together a long time ago (over 20 years wow!) and have been reunited over the most hellish of reasons....the big C. We share the fact that we are both terminally ill with cancer and message regularly, sharing our experiences and offloading things that only people in our situation would understand. Lou is the loveliest human and wonderful mum to all of her children.

Lou has had 16 months of absolute hell, which is a huge understatement. She was initially diagnosed with breast cancer 16 months ago and underwent treatment, and later on got the news that the cancer had spread to her bones. Recently whilst waiting to undergo further treatment and surgery she got the call that no one wants to receive, her scans showed something they were concerned about and further scans were needed. Fast forward to this week and the devastating news that the cancer has now spread to her brain. Obviously this was a shock for her and her family and a realisation that time really is precious.

Lou is wanting to make as many beautiful memories with her children whilst she is physically able to, her treatment side effects and those from her cancer some days can make that difficult and will likely become progressively worse. I was very fortunate to have support on my own fundraising campaign to make memories with daughters, and I hope that Lou is also supported to have that chance whilst she is still well enough to. Every child deserves to be able to enjoy time with their mum and have these memories to look back on in the future.
