Help Terrance Heal After Tragic Incident
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Terrance Williams. On Monday morning, November 18th, while on my morning run, I was shot by a man I do not know. He shot me twice, in my hip and in my shoulder. Because it is still an active investigation, I'm not sure how many details I can give on the incident. I was able to call the police and ambulance, and they were able to take me to the hospital. I had surgery where they repaired my shoulder, which was broken and fractured. I currently have a metal plate and screws in my shoulder. And with my hip, 40% of the bone is gone. It was completely broken and shattered along the femur. I am going to have to have extensive physical therapy, both in-home and outpatient. It will be a very long road to recovery. But I am very blessed to be alive, and because I am young and active, the doctors feel that my recovery process will be difficult, but not impossible.
Anything that you can give to help for medical fees and outpatient in-home care would be greatly appreciated. In-home care is about $150 per visit, and we are looking at 6 to 8 weeks of care. I have not received the final bill from the hospital for the surgeries and staying in the room, but I will update that when I get more information. Thank you so much for your love, prayers, and support. I really appreciate it, and I hope to be recovered as quickly as possible. I have a no-touch order on my leg, so I'm not allowed to stand on my right leg that was shot, and so I will have to use a walker and a wheelchair, which I will also have to purchase.
Because of my extensive injuries, I also will not be able to run my business where I sew and make clothing because I will not be able to run my sewing machine. With that being my main source of income, I also need help being able to pay rent and my bills until I am able to be recovered enough to start my small business again.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
