Help Terry Rebuild After Devastating Scam

THIS IS ELDER ABUSE !

This is my awesome father-in-law Terry. Terry has been in my life for over 30 years. He is the nicest man & would do anything for anyone. I love him dearly. Terry was just scammed out of his WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE SAVINGS and then some. Approximately $130,000. (the crooks took out loans in his name as well)

A company that is very well known as Pub****ing Clearing House has been grooming him and setting him up to be scammed. For the last three or four years they have sent this elderly man weekly notices saying that he’s in the FINALS TO WIN ONE MILLION DOLLARS! Over and over again. They told him all he needs to do is to send “said” information back and then they make these elderly people feel like they need to purchase something from them and somehow that’s going to give them a better chance of winning that one million dollars. This company was just sued for $18 million and LOST over their deceptive practices. They have groomed him and have set him up to be scammed by other companies in doing this. Could it be collusion? That’s my opinion. They brain wash the elderly by constantly barraging them with notices saying that they are in finals to win millions of dollars till the point where they BELIEVE IT. I believe this company has sold his information to other scamming companies as well.

We are dealing with the Federal Trade Commission, Local Police and with the Credit Union that allowed this massive amount of money to be transferred out of a 75 yr old man’s account and wired out of state. And this scam artist or company of scam artists is still trying to call him on a daily basis trying to get more out of him. (they actually called him again while he was standing there talking to the detective) I guess they want his house because that’s literally all he has left. I am heart broken, appalled and disgusted, I truly believe in Karma and that there will be a special place in HELL for these people.

I’m just trying to get him a little bit of cushion in the bank. He used his life savings to cover bills that his Social Security did not cover. Not only does he not have that now, he is in debt because of these people. I do not want to embarrass him by posting this, but sometimes we have to swallow are pride and ask for help from other people who understand and care. If you have a few dollars to spare, please help. If you don’t think this could happen to someone you know that is elderly and totally alert and oriented, you are mistaken. It can happen!

We will not be letting this go. Once we go through all the channels that we can possibly go through then we will be checking into hiring an attorney to see what legal action we can take as well.
