Help Tess fly to Australia for lifesaving surgery

My dear friend Theresa (Tess) Gizoria has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Lobular Cell Carcinoma - a really advanced form of breast cancer.

Tess and her family live in Papua New Guinea and do not have access to necessary medical treatment.

Please help me raise the funds for her to travel to Australia for potentially life-saving surgery.

Tess is one of the kindest, most selfess people I have ever met. She is always caring for others and doing what she can to support her family and community. Even during her greatest time of need, Tess has been using the funds she's raised to help pay for chemo drugs for others.

"I did my Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy in early February 2023 and received the results 13 days later. One month later, I did my first cycle of chemotherapy... I've since been re-staged to at Stage 3 Lobular Cell Carcinoma. Lobular cell carcinoma is a type of breast cancer that begins in the milk producing glands (lobules) of the breast.

Cancers develop and become invasive when the cancer cells have broken out of the lobule where they began and have the potential to spread to the lymph nodes and other areas of the body.

I have several swollen lymph nodes too, but because we do not have facilities to properly test, oncologists are limited in their ability to give an accurate prognosis to patients.

This means I don't know the extent of the cancer I have, or the spread, and so determining the best course of action is difficult.

I've now done 4 of 8 rounds of chemo while raising funds to access radiation treatment, surgery and other tests overseas.

During my chemo, I've learned that many women have missed out on chemo for months at a time, because they can't afford the chemo drugs and can't readily access facilities. One of the ladies I've bought chemo drugs for is a rural peanut grower who could only afford her first round of chemo, otherwise she would not be able to send her kids to school.

Without the generosity of countless angels who sent me money, I would not have been able to help her and 14 other people like her."
