Support Tess to her dream school Rambert

Hi!

Mijn naam is Tess Adriani. Ik ben 20 jaar oud en op dit moment ben ik hard bezig om mijn dromen werkelijkheid te laten worden. Afgelopen periode heb ik audities gedaan voor verschillende scholen. Waaronder bij mijn droomschool Rambert school, Conservatoire for Dance and Drama te Londen. Tot grote trots heb ik te horen gekregen dat ik ben aangenomen!

Als 4-jarig meisje droomde ik al van een carrière als danseres. Deze droom heb ik tot heden nog steeds. Op mijn 15e levensjaar is mijn talent gezien door danscoaches. Zij besloten mij verder te helpen om mijn droom te laten verwezenlijken. Vanaf die periode was ik elke dag te vinden in de dansstudio.

Momenteel volg ik een MBO dansopleiding op het Nova College Dans, die ik eind juni afrond. Daarnaast volg ik Personal Training, coaching en volg ik de vooropleiding bij Creating Art Productions. Deze scholen hebben mij geholpen de audities voor Rambert te kunnen behalen.

Ik geloof dat Rambert School voor mij de beste stap is om te maken.
Als danseres is je toekomst onzeker, maar omdat Rambert een kleine school is met veel connecties en erg weinig mensen per jaar over de hele wereld worden aangenomen, is de kans voor mij richting het werkveld toe véél groter.

De kosten voor Rambert zijn door de Brexit aanzienlijk toegenomen én het leven in Londen is daarbij ook erg duur. Één schooljaar kost 21.300 euro per jaar. Door mijn discipline en motivatie heb ik al veel geld zelf bij elkaar weten te sparen. Echter kom ik nog een flink bedrag te kort: 15.000 euro. Dit geld zal geïnvesteerd worden in het eerste schooljaar. Met de directrice is afgesproken dat na afronding van het eerste schooljaar, ik een certificaat ontvang van Rambert School. Hiermee kan ik aantonen dat ik één jaar heb gestudeerd aan de school. Mijn streven is om de hele opleiding van 4 jaar af te ronden in Londen. Dit wil ik gaan doen door naast mijn studie veel te werken in Londen.


Vóór 1 juni moet ik (financieel gezien) laten weten of ik kan komen. Mijn doelstelling is om minimaal 50% (van 15.000 euro) voor die tijd op te hebben gehaald.


Deze kans betekent ontzettend veel voor mij. Een kans die ik nooit had durven dromen: aangenomen worden op een van de beste dansscholen!
Ik heb er dan ook alles voor over om deze droom uit te laten komen. Wij hebben het nooit heel ruim gehad wat geld betreft. Ik heb daarom zoveel als ik kon gespaard en ook mijn ouders hebben hier alles aan gedaan.

Ik vind het moeilijk om op deze manier geld te vragen, maar tegelijkertijd geloof ik ook dat als je een droom hebt en daar heel hard voor werkt, je die droom kan behalen. Een financiële kwestie mag dan zeker nooit in de weg staan.

My name is Tess Adriani. I am 20 years old and at the moment I am working hard to make my dreams come true. In the last few months I auditioned for different schools. Including at my dream school Rambert school, Conservatoire for Dance and Drama in London. I was very proud to hear that I was accepted!

As a 4-year-old girl I already dreamed of a career as a dancer. I still have this dream to this day. At the age of 15 my talent was seen by dance coaches. They decided to help me to make my dream come true. From there on I could be found in the dance studio every day.

I am currently following an MBO (post-secondary vocational education) dance training at the Nova College Dance, which I will complete at the end of June. I also follow Personal Training, coaching and the preliminary training at Creating Art Productions. These schools helped me pass the auditions for Rambert.

I believe that Rambert School is the best step for me to take.
As a dancer your future is uncertain, but because Rambert is a small school with many connections and very few people are accepted all over the world every year. If I go to this school the chance of me working in the dance field is much greater.

The costs for Rambert have increased considerably due to Brexit and life in London is also very expensive. One school year costs 21,300 euro. Because of my discipline and motivation I have already managed to save a lot of money myself. However, I am still a considerable amount short: 15,000 euro. This money will be invested in the first school year. It has been agreed with the principal that after completing the first school year, I will receive a certificate from Rambert School. With this I can prove that I have studied at the school for one year. My goal is to complete the entire 4-year course in London. I want to do this by working a lot in London, in addition to my studies.


Before the first of June, I have to let Rambert school know (financially) if I will be able to come to there school. My goal is to have collected at least 50% (of 15,000 euros) before that time.


This opportunity means an awful lot to me. An opportunity that I thought would be unreachable: being accepted at one of the best dance schools!
I do everything I can to make this dream come true. When it comes to money, I never had a lot of it. Therefore I have saved as much as I could and my parents have also done everything they can.

I find it difficult to ask for money this way, but at the same time I also believe that if you have a dream and work very hard for it, you can achieve that dream. A financial issue should never get in the way.
