Help The 1889 McInteer Villa with repairs
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Trisha and I'm raising funds for the historic and haunted 1889 McInteer Villa located at 1301 Kansas Avenue in Atchison, Kansas. I recently returned from another overnight paranormal investigation from this beautiful landmark and learned that the boiler completely stopped working approximately two months ago. The home has no working heat currently other than using small heaters occasionally when guests visit.
As you may know, cold weather can really take a toll on an unheated building in a brief amount of time. I've seen it firsthand and it's unbelievable how quickly a property can deteriorate. With winter quickly coming I'm asking for donations as soon as possible so the owner, Stephanie Oreilly, can get the heat source either repaired or replaced before something detrimental happens to this historic property. I am humbly asking for anyone and everyone to consider donating what you can as soon as possible. I know times are tough for everyone and Christmas is coming, but no amount is too little and will help preserve this landmark. Even just $10.00 or less will add up if we can get enough people to chip in.
Stephanie purchased the 1889 McInteer Villa with the help of her late loving father, Ernest Maynard Adkins Jr., in January of 2018. After some renovations she opened her new haunted home to the public for paranormal overnights on June 1, 2018. Stephanie often shares stories about her father who sadly passed away in 2020. I know that he is watching over her and the Villa and is so proud of how she's maintained is thus far. She is a kind, loving, beautiful, hilarious, strong and humble lady who doesn't have the easiest time asking for help. This is why I asked her permission to do this on her behalf. Please help if you can and spread the word so this glorious, historic, haunted and widely loved location can be preserved for future enjoyment by all who visit and so that Stephanie can continue to honor her late father, all those who came before and who still reside or visit the 1889 McInteer Villa from time to time. Thank you for your time, consideration and any donations.
All donations will go straight to Stephanie Oreilly for use as she sees fit for repairing/replacing the boiler or finding an alternative heat source, in addition to other necessary repairs for the 1889 McInteer Villa.
