Hello, my name is Akram. I am 29 years old and from Gaza. After my father's death 11 years ago, I became the sole provider for my family. As a civil engineer, I worked tirelessly to support us, but we are innocent civilians who have lost everything due to the relentless war. My office, our only source of income, was destroyed. Despite the hardships, we hold on to hope and dream of starting anew.
Home Destroyed !!
Our hearts are shattered. The place where we shared so many memories is now just a memory itself. Our beloved home in Gaza, filled with precious moments and laughter, has been destroyed. We have lost everything. Here are the latest pictures we received of what remains of our home
Within our family, each member bears their own burden of suffering. My sister Sanaa, a young mother, endured the heartbreak of losing her precious daughter to cancer.
Sarah, my second sister, battles lupus erythematosus, and the ongoing conflict in Gaza has made her fight even harder. The siege has cut off access to the crucial medication she needs, leaving her without treatment for the past three months. With no functional laboratories, her essential tests can't be conducted. The situation is dire, and her health is rapidly deteriorating.
Sarah’s medicine !!
Areej, our brightest star, dreams of becoming a software engineer and making a difference in the world. However, her dreams have been put on hold as the university she attended lies in ruins. Despite these challenges, we're determined to support her and see her aspirations fulfilled.
And then there's Solaf, the youngest among us, full of potential and ambition. She dreams of becoming a doctor, a beacon of hope in a world filled with uncertainty. Yet, her dreams have been shattered by the devastation of war, leaving her education disrupted and her future uncertain.
Our youngest, Mohammed, is a talented football player and a smart young boy with dreams of joining an academy to pursue his passion. His club was destroyed, but with your help, we can ensure he continues to chase his And then there's my mother, our rock, who has faced every challenge with unwavering strength and courage. At 52 years old, she battles hypertension while striving to protect and care for us all. Every one of us has a story of struggle and resilience. Every one of us dreams of a brighter future.
With your support, we can rebuild our lives, piece by piece, and reignite the flames of hope in our hearts. Your generous donations will go towards providing shelter, medical care, educational opportunities, and the chance for Mohammed to pursue his football dreams. Together, we can turn the tide of adversity and build a brighter future for the Abdelwahed family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, compassion, and support.
