The Adamo Family needs our help! This gofundme account has been created to help with funeral, medical and just all expenses as they navigate this incredibly difficult time in their lives.
Update from Sarah:
Today (Thursday) at about 1:50 PM Mountain time, Jacob met his creator face to face.
I have no words, no emojis to give. My soul is numb. His body didn't want to go anymore and things started failing.
I have one more request... pray for wisdom and the wherewithal to get through the next few days. There will be lots of decisions to be made.
I'm headed home to love on my babies. And to tell them how much their Daddy loved them. ❤
Thank you for your prayers and support during this time. As soon as we have a date for his service, I will let you all know. ❤
From Sarah: April 8, 2018 Update on Jacob... went to the ER... and he had some blood tests. For those nerdy friends his bilibuben level was 39...and his creatinine was at 8 (.5 to 1 is normal for his age). The doc said he needed a specialist (hepatologist) so he is en-route to Denver (UC Health in Aurora) ICU via ambulance where he is getting a CT scan. The pic is him just leaving the ER for the ambulance. I am on my way down with Thea (his mom). We will then get an official diagnoses.
How am I? Wrecked. My birthday is tomorrow and our 15th anniversary is Thursday and the worst case stuff discussed in the ER were things like "kidney failure" and "transplant". Not the words you want to hear.
The kids are at home being cared for. I am going to try and keep Mike Marlow updated as to his condition and for those that are local Leslie Marshall has set up a Meal Train ( https://mealtrain.com/68g4nk ) and a fundraiser to help with travel expenses. You can also reach out to Thea Adamo or Sherma Cundall if you cannot get ahold of me right away.
Please pray for answers and for healing, for my sanity, and for our kids as we walk this out. I don't know how long I'm going to be down in Denver with him... just all the nitty gritty details are up in the air right now. Thank you so much to everyone who have already jumped in. I'm so thankful for you.
I will update as soon as I know more.
