Help the Aderas Rebuild After Eaton Fire

Some of the sweetest people we know need your support. On Tuesday evening, while Dawit was flying to the east coast for work, Connie had to urgently evacuate with their two young children and family cat. That night, the Eaton Fire reduced their home to ashes. They lost everything they owned. They are clinging to one another and thanking God that they are all safe but the insurmountable loss and unprecedented road ahead is substantial. In the blink of an eye, the security and comfort of their lovely home and everything cherished within it is gone.

We are counting on friends and family to rally around this beautiful young family and help get them back on their feet. Anyone who is privileged enough to know the Aderas, has seen their generosity and selflessness first hand. They have a tendency to make you feel like family the moment you meet. Dawit is perhaps the most humble and encouraging person we know. Connie’s servant heart and devotion to her family and community are unmatched.

Let’s help with some of the financial burden for this family in desperate need. Dawit, Connie, Sammy, and Bell will need to replace virtually everything they owned. The immediate needs are basic necessities like shoes, clothing, toiletries, and food as they navigate where to stay for the foreseeable future. Though they’ll also need to replace all of their furniture, beds, kitchenware, truck, appliances, etc. They lost irreplaceable family photos, all of their kids books and toys, school supplies, and so many other cherished items.

Beyond the physical loss of their home and possessions, the Eaton fire has threatened their feeling of safety, stability, and sense of security.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help them secure temporary housing, replace essential items, and begin the arduous process of rebuilding literally from the ground up.
