Stand with the Afghan refugees in Australia
To our fellow Australians,
The Afghan community in Australia has been plunged into mourning for the lives of loved ones lost in Afghanistan as a result of the Taliban's brutal attacks on innocent people during the past few days.
A peaceful protest was organized on Sunday 22nd of August, in Forestchase Perth. As a result, we achieved a congregation of around 3000 people.
Below is the list of areas the new Afghan arrivals will need upon their release into mainstream society.
- Mental health support
- Assistance with Family and children issues relating to resettlement
- Torture and trauma counselling
- Housing and accommodation support
All the above-listed areas will need to branch out into other smaller projects.
The AFG Young Leaders is an incorporated not-for-profit organization since 2018. We are a group of like-minded, passionate, and willing individuals who have proven that we have the expertise, capacity, and manpower to offer the above services to the Afghan new arrivals.
Our request from our fellow Australians:
Kindly provide us with the financial assistance to fulfil the obligatory services for Afghan new arrivals.
