Help the Shaban Family Evacuate Gaza

Hello,

I am reaching out to you with a plea for urgent assistance. The war in Gaza has taken its toll on everyone there, and unfortunately, my family has fallen victim to it as well. With the lack of water, scarcity of food, violence, and growing instability, this GoFundMe page has become our only hope.

My cousins, from the Albeltaji Family, consists of 7 members: Shaban, Manal, Obaida, Aseel, Arwa, Amjad, and Mohammed. Pictured below are them before the way:

Three of them, Arwa, Amjad, and Mohammed, are aged 22, 20, and 18, and haven't yet finished their education. Even for those who have finished, the possibility of a future in Gaza has diminished.

The trauma experienced is immeasurable, and their family home has been destroyed, along with all its memories. The idea of returning is not even close. My family has no other option but to evacuate, an option that weighs heavily on their hearts as they flee everything they've ever known.

The cost of leaving Gaza through the Egyptian border has now reached an unreasonable price of 5000 US dollars per adult, and it's guaranteed to go up.

In the midst of chaos and feelings of helplessness, this GoFundMe has been my last glimmer of hope, and I believe it is the same for many kind individuals out there. No matter how big or small the contribution is, it will bring us one step closer to bringing my family to safety. Your donation will give my family the privilege of safety, food, and continuing their education — a privilege that everyone deserves and shouldn't be stripped away from.

All collected funds will be transferred to my family in Gaza.
