Help the Allen Family after Total Loss House Fire

Hello. My name is Erin Burris, and one of my best friends and her family lost everything in a devastating house fire.

On the morning of Saturday May 6, 2023, Robin was home sleeping after working night shift as an RN at Ohio State NICU.

She woke up to a fireman rescuing her as their house was on fire. The house beside their family home was on fire, and unfortunately their house caught on fire too. There were 3 homes involved in the fire, and the Allen’s home is a total loss.

Praise God, everyone was safe.

Robin and Jason Allen raised their children Nate and Raeanna in this home, and all of their grandkids loved to spend the night and visit mamaw and papaw there. So many memories were made, and now they are left with only a few pictures that the brave fireman were able to save, a few keepsakes, and their memories.

If you know Robin and Jason, you know they do not ask for anything. They help others, and expect nothing in return. Now it’s time to help them.

Robin has been a nurse for over 20 years, she started her nursing career in the NICU at Genesis and has been working in the NICU at Ohio State for the last 7 years. She has helped families during their most difficult times.

We all know insurance will not cover a fraction of what it will take to rebuild their life from the ground up.

The expenses of renting, finding another home or rebuilding, and starting over, is overwhelming.
