Help The Alonzo Family Overcome Mold Toxicity
Donation protected
It is really hard to write about this and ask for help, but our community has encourage us to do so. Cassie has been battling ongoing gut health issues since 3 months postpartum along with intense anxiety. We’ve spent a lot on different testing, seeing multiple professionals, going through different protocols to help her body in what we assumed was all postpartum etc. While she’d see some relief, nothing ever lasted. The Lord has been faithful and gracious through it all despite the circumstances. We’re most thankful for counseling sessions that have given her hope and biblical practical tools. Fast forward to this year, in May, our sweet Aiden broke out in mystery hives for a few weeks that we could not pinpoint the cause. Shortly after, they turned into severe eczema. Cassie immediately suspected mold during his hives outbreak. After some time had passed and desiring to sell our home, we knew we needed the peace of mind. Not only to make sure our home was safe for us and future owners but also answers to the array of symptoms. We finally had the mold inspection done and it was confirmed that our home indeed has elevated levels of toxic mold and needs remediation. Recent labwork for Cassie showed a pathway of mold toxicity and more recent new symptoms affecting her mental health significantly, an array of physical symptoms and the return of hives for our sweet boy. We have a battle ahead of us and unfortunately this process is very costly and insurance won’t provide coverage. Any help is appreciated way more than you know and please above all pray for us. We trust in the Lord, no matter what and are so very thankful for His guidance and provision.
The funds will be allocated to help pay for remediation and rebuild.
