Help the Althoff Family recover from a Hurricane

[Hi everyone, for the sake of transparency, this is Kurt Richter. I'm Dan and Betty's son-in-law. I live in Palm Harbor with my wife Elizabeth and our family. All funds raised will go to Dan Althoff, to be distributed among himself, Betty, Christine, Gabe, and Baby Zoe.]

Dan and Betty Althoff's family home of approximately 40 years was right on the canals of Ft Myers, experiencing the full intensity of nearly Category 5 Hurricane Ian's record storm surge, flooding their home to the roof. 

The home of their daughter, Christine, her husband Gabe, and their daughter Baby Zoe, only a short walk away, suffered the same fate. 

Insurance payouts, loans, and grants will be applied for but these all take precious time, and deductibles will need to be met.

Before the storm, Dan went house to house checking on his elderly and disabled neighbors, moving their plants and patio furniture, tying things down. Dan has always been the kind of guy to help anyone in a pinch, and now it's our turn to help him and his family.
