Help the Alvarado Family fight cancer

Hi my name is Joceline. My husband Vidal Alvarado had been diagnosed with parotid cancer for over a year now. He first got surgery in October 2022 to remove a tumor in his salivary gland. He started chemo and radiation earlier this year in February, he has completed 6 rounds of chemo. He had a pet ct scan done and his cancer had spread to his lungs and spine. He completed another 5 rounds of chemo last month. And again the cancer spread.. we received the news yesterday 12/21/23 that the chemo did not work. We are left with less options now. We are looking for clinical trials for him. We’re asking for help because they’re still travel and medical expenses that we cannot cover on our own. My husband was the main provider for me and our 2 kids. Not only has it been hard to see him go through this journey but It’s been hard for us financially. We just started our family our daughter is turning 3 and our son is 1. With less than a year to live we are desperate to travel anywhere to get other options. Anything helps and thank you so much. Hola mi nombre es Joceline. A mi esposo Vidal Alvarado le habían diagnosticado cáncer de parótida desde hacía más de un año. Se sometió a una cirugía por primera vez en octubre de 2022 para extirpar un tumor en su glándula salival. Comenzó la quimioterapia y la radiación a principios de febrero de este año y completó 6 rondas de quimioterapia. Le hicieron una tomografía computarizada y su cáncer se había extendido a sus pulmones y columna. Completó otras cinco rondas de quimioterapia el mes pasado. Y nuevamente el cáncer se propagó. Ayer recibimos la noticia 21/12/23 de que la quimioterapia no funcionó. Ahora nos quedan menos opciones. Estamos buscando ensayos clínicos para él. Estamos pidiendo ayuda porque todavía son gastos de viaje y médicos que no podemos cubrir por nuestra cuenta. Mi esposo era el principal sostén para mí y nuestros 2 hijos. No sólo ha sido difícil verlo recorrer este viaje, sino que también ha sido difícil para nosotros financieramente. Acabamos de comenzar nuestra familia, nuestra hija cumple 3 años y nuestro hijo tiene 1. Con menos de un año de vida, estamos desesperados por viajar a cualquier lugar para tener otras opciones.
