Help the Alvarado Family rebuild

If you have met Jessica, Joey Alvarado and their children you would know that they are generous people, great parents, and peaceful neighbors who only want the best for everybody and would do no harm to anyone.
This Thursday an unfortunate event happened. Two masked men rushed into our Brother and Sisters house and held Jessica and the children at gunpoint. Our family was threatened with guns while the house was ransacked and checked for valuables. Not much was found and luckily nobody lost their lives but the trauma will live with our family forever. Less importantly some electronics were stolen which are used for the family business.
Joey is a Barber and delivery driver and Jessica is stay-at-home Mother of five and Co-founder of Chismes Y Cafesito a community movement aiming to re-unite parts of our Denver latino culture that have been fractured by an evolving city. Using social media they are able to organize networking events, vendor shows and cultural celebrations. Jessica and Joey also take care of their special-needs brother who was injured during the robbery.
We have started this fund because Joey will not be working for the next couple of weeks until the house is more secure. Cameras and Motion lights were installed the next day. Jessica lost her wallet, purse, phone, watch and laptop which had all of the Chismes Y Cafesito projects on it including invitations and marketing material for an upcoming event.
We would like to like to help them purchase a new laptop and also help them pay off the one that was stolen. We would like to raise money to take a financial burden off the family so they can deal with the trauma of having a gun pointed at a three year old. We would like to help with the security upgrades and installation costs. We would like to maybe surpass our goal and send the family on a much deserved vacation.
Please show some love and help our Brother, Sister, Alexis and kiddos (age 9, 7, 6 , 5 & 3) rebuild after this traumatic event. We will help them get through this and good will always prevail. God Bless everyone. Thank you for reading.
