Help The Arc fund surgery for two poorly kittens
Donation protected
Hi everyone, I’m so sorry to have to ask so soon after our last fundraiser but the cat rescue world is chronic right now!
So many poorly cats and kittens needing help and today we had eight emergency arrivals who are all poorly. These were born to feral cats living at some allotments where a lovely couple are doing their best in a terrible situation to help ask the cats and kittens there - these two particular kittens are Annie (tabby) and Bea (black) and they both require surgery for eye enucleations. They have both been seen by our vet this morning and it has been confirmed that Annie will need one eye removing while Bea requires both eyes removing.
They are on antibiotics and pain relief and will head back to the vet tomorrow evening ready for their operations on Monday morning.
At the moment our vet bill is just over £5000 and these two operations will add around £1500 to that so by Monday evening we will be owing at least £6500!!
I’m hoping that if everyone shares our fundraiser we will be able to get this amount down to a more manageable amount - it would be amazing if we could clear it completely but in all honesty anything helps right now.
For anyone who doesn’t know our rescue please take a look at The Arc - the ashmore rescue for cats on Facebook.
We are so busy like so many other rescues and I don’t always have time to keep the page updated but I do my best. We have lots of cats looking for loving new homes but not all are on the page yet so please feel free to message the rescue if you are interesting in offering a needy soul a bright future.
