Help the Archer Family

Donation protected

Please consider helping this great family. Paul worked for Signature Consultants as a contractor, Trina is the operations manager for Fort Worth and Oklahoma City branches of AXA and Martin is a sophomore at the Academy in Plano.

* On February 20th Paul was admitted to the hospital for necrotizing pancreatitis and was transferred to Baylor Plano. He then got transferred to PCU (progressive care unit)  so they could monitor his heart more closely . Paul was in the hospital until February 29th.
* On March 2nd Paul got re-admitted to the hospital because he was having difficulty breathing due to fluid build up in his abdomen.  Paul remained in the hospital until March 6th.
* On March 12th Paul was rushed to the hospital via ambulance and needed to be resuscitated.  Paul's body was suffering from sepsis, a massive infection.
* He has been in the ICU  ever since struggling with the infection.  He has been on a ventilator and has not been able to successfully breath on his own for more than a day.   They have placed a tracheostomy tube to attach the ventilator to so that they can more easily work on weaning him off the ventilator.
* They had to do exploratory surgery to try and find where the infection was and he will require several additional surgeries to help remove the infection and scar tissue.
* His kidneys and other organs started shutting down.  They had to put him on daily dialysis.

Paul and his family  have a very long road  ahead of them with an extended hospital stay and months of recovery.  Paul is obviously unable to work and the lack of income in addition to astronomical medical bills is placing a huge burden on this family.

Their son Martin who is only 15 years old has tried to take on a lot of Paul's responsibilities around the home but with school and our current Corona crisis he is limited as to what he can do.

The hospitals are shut down to any visitors.  Trina and Martin cannot even get in to see Paul.  Can you imagine a loved one being in the hospital...critically...and not being able to be there?

Trina is trying to keep the house and keep things as normal as possible (for Martin) while Paul is out of commission.

With everything being shut down in town, all Martin and Trina have to do is sit and worry and wait for the next wave of bad news.  Being stuck at home is one thing...but being stuck at home with the stress of not knowing what’s going on with your husband AND a landslide of hospital bills looming, has to suck.

Any funds you donate will go towards trying to keep the house and bills paid as well as the massive hospital bills.  We are expecting Paul to be in the hospital for an indefinite amount of time. The bills will pile up even more. Even with insurance, the burden will be great.

We understand that in this uncertain time it may be difficult to  donate but any amount can help. Honestly no amount is too small $2…$5…$10.  As a community we can pull together and help keep this family afloat during this hardship.

Please keep Paul in your prayers.  We need Warriors….Prayer Warriors.
